You can see the spaghetti of vacuum lines connected to it. \r\n\r\n2) Starting in 1985 Nissan wisened-up and started using new metal for the beds as prior to '85 they were experimenting with recycled metal and a slightly different bed design that rotted quite aggressively (esp. in damp and winter climates). The pre '85 cabs were made from new metal and so did not rust like the beds.\r\n\r\n3) This ST spec model was the most expensive truck Nissan sold in 1985. \r\n\r\n4) If you want to prank your friends show them the distributor cap and tell them you swapped a V8 into your 720 as the NAPS-Z had 2 plugs per cylinder (to help in pass emissions and give it a little extra power).\r\n\r\nI owned a seriously modified 720 Kingcab that I swapped in a bored and stroked Skyline Engine with the close ratio 5 speed. In 3rd gear it would bury the speedo with two more to grab. On the street it took down some big hp cars and once rolling it was awesome! Loved that truck. Lots of great memories. Exhaust manifold cracked at 80k, and transmission issues at about 90k. I drove it hard from Sacramento to Tahoe for quite a few trips. Pretty easy to pull the tranny/clutch. I don't know about parts availability these days, but I would think that they're all over the place. I always wanted a V6, though. It was pretty anemic on the freeway at altitude. Could have tuned it different, but its home was at sea level. I haven't had a sliding rear window on my later trucks, and I always miss it.
