I have yet to find any rust. As for the overdrive. The main cable moves in and out smoothly and the servo / governor are all there, however someone did cut the wires. Here are some additional pictures of the passenger side drip rail and package tray. \r\n\r\nThe drip rail, I had my paint guy take a look at it, he says its just minor surface rust due to the seam sealer puling back. There is no damage to the paint or any cancer rust. \r\n\r\nThe package tray is leather, and it feels solid. The production code starts with a build date 11 G which translates to July 11. The next two digits (89) should call out the geographical sales district where it was first shipped. In a few cases that code calls out something else. In this case 89 calls out a destination Ford calls \"Transportation Services\". I have no idea what that means. Normally I think a car sold out of Pocatello ID would have gone to the Salt Lake City district (code 73).
