Fit and finish of the woodwork, leather, etc. was/is unmatched by any other manufacturer. 3) Style - tremendous visual presence - when you drive this, everyone knows it's SPECIAL. I had a parking valet in Scottsdale move a $350,000 Maybach to park my 1951 Bentley by the front door. 4) The driving experience - the ergonomics, the relationship of the steering wheel, four-speed floor shift, pedals etc. is simply perfect and the car was a high performance vehicle then, and it still is today, capable of high speeds in comfort and safety all day long. I have done track days in one and another time while driving through the Siskiyou Mountains in Northern Calif. I stopped for gas in Yreka and before I left a young woman in a Mustang that I had passed earlier on I-5 came in and exclaimed \"Wow, that thing hauls ass! I've been trying to catch you for 20 miles!\" Finally, it's the last of it's kind. Prior to the war, it's contemporaries included Talbot-Lago, Bugatti, Delahaye etc and none of them survived as automakers but Bentley did and it's been overlooked by people ever since.
