In fact, when I go to my local VW dealers they all love mine and want to take photos with it. It was imported legally and is titled and registered to me here in NJ. As far as the tinted windows are concerned- that\u2019s just my personal taste and I realize it may not be everyone\u2019s. I\u2019ve never been pulled over or given any flack for it. The van is also exempt from state inspection so that helped too. If the eventual buyer prefers, the tint is can be easily removed to their preference. \r\n\r\nThis van gets soooo much attention. From conversations at gas stations (although it\u2019s great on gas so they are less frequent) to people taking photos of it at traffic lights and to the crowd that forms around it at car shows, this does in fact make super car owners envious of the attention! Haha. \r\n\r\nIt\u2019s a well sorted and very well optioned van, as it\u2019s pretty rare as I\u2019ve seen, to find a stick shift VW-clone conversion like mine, and ten times over in a 4WD. I\u2019ve driven an automatic one too and the stick is a completely different driving experience. The autos as you guys mentioned are CVT and I feel they are underpowered even for a Kei van. So stick, in my opinion, is the way to go.
