Not sure if it is paint? An attempt at protection against the rust spreading. Easy to see in pics 134 and 135, and after recognizing it in those pictures it is easier to spot in most of the other underbody shots. Do we know if there are before pics? And what the paint/coating is? Also looks like somebody recently tried to fix the rattling front suspension with new sway bar end links, but failed to also get body mount bushings. The driver side bushing is ripped halfway out of the mount and the disrupted geometry of the sway bar now is imparting a real tough angle on that passenger side end link. Will probably need to replace that end link after getting new body bushings.
