It applies to ALL BAT CARS!\r\n\r\nThis is a copy an paste from all my auctions.\r\n\r\n\u201cGood Morning/Day Bring A Trailer community members, NEW members and registered bidders.\r\n\r\nPlease read the following carefully. It applies to everyone per @bringatrailer auction rules. Whether you are a seasoned or a new member, as well as registered bidders, we have recently seen a jump in the number of people whom bid, win and do not honor their commitment to the purchase. This puts a lot of stress on everyone involved.\r\nLike all other traditional auction houses for many years prior, BAT has rules in place for their auctions as well. It seems that some new bidders do not read or understand the gravity of the winning rules on BAT prior to bidding.\r\n\r\n1- All bids are final if auction is won.\r\n\r\n2- 5% non-refundable fee ($5000 Max)\r\n\r\n3- If you do not commit to your purchase, there will be a LIFETIME BAN on your account and IP address on Bring A Trailer auctions and your fee will not be refunded. Asking your friends or spouse to bid for you won\u2019t help either. No one will bid on your behalf knowing you broke the rules the first time.\r\n\r\n4- All inspections and research on the car are to be done during the 7-14 day auction period, not post auction win. Unlike traditional auction houses where the car is static at a hangar, Hotel or a Lawn, at BAT, you can actually come, see the car, drive it, inspect and do all your research without limitations. It is the beauty of BAT auctions. Buyers have a lot of freedom and power.\r\n\r\n5- Please be sure that you are 100% ready to buy the car before bidding.\r\n\r\n6- Check with your State and country\u2019s car purchasing and/or importing rules before the auction ends. e.g ( \u2018I didn\u2019t know my country does not allow importing of classic cars\u2019 is not a valid excuse post auction win)\r\n\r\n7- As seasoned sellers, we are committed to honest and open presentations as well, however, do not hold us to our word if you do not wish to do so; come and inspect the car with your own eyes, drive it, feel it, or have e third party inspection done PRIOR TO END OF AUCTION.\r\n\r\n8- Bid within good time before the end of the 2-minute auction time.
