I'm a bigtime carlover and as my name suggests I do have a thing for Nissan platform vehicles, particularly the Datsun era through the early 2000's.\r\n\r\nTo answer your question @azana1, no I haven't owned it long. I simply prowl classifieds when I'm bored for cars that I have interest in and if I can find particularly clean examples, I like to experience them. This has lead to a long list of cars that I've owned but I've enjoyed them all. On average I go through 2-3 cars a year. I recently flew to Chicago for a 1995 Nissan Maxima SE 5-Speed that I enjoy immensley.\r\n\r\nI have bid on several Y34 M45's in the past here on BaT and have an affinitiy for these unique V8 Sedans. I like their clean lines, smooth V8 power, and cool JDM swagger as they aren't much different than the Gloria that had a long run in Japan. \r\n\r\nThis particlar M45 doesn't have the common fuel gauge issue or the trunk strut issue. Both the fuel gauge and trunk struts operate just fine, also to answer your question @azana1. \r\n\r\nAs described in the listing, the real only issue with the car is the button on the passenger seat won't click into the cool mode and I replaced the glass on the driver side mirror and the didn't have the best of luck in keeping the gasket intact in doing so. No fuel gauge issue, as I think it was fixed via recall, and the trunk struts are also fine. Everything works as it should. I also had mine paint corrected and ceramic coated. \n\nI'm very thankful the previous owners took good care of it. What amazing cars these are!
