In both of the examples you're referring to one panel is at a 90 degree angle from the camera (and polarizer) and the other panels are not, which effects how light reflects off the panel from the view of the camera. It seems like the respray was performed with the body shell stripped, engine, drivetrain and suspension removed. Is this correct? The power estimate seems to be about right. I along with a couple of partners campaigned a 280Z in IMSA many years ago. We were limited to 3.0 Liters for the GTU class so we had just slightly over 2.9 liters. We ran the 50mm Mikuni Solex's and were geting a max of about 380 hp. Dealership did a repair, replaced fender and a repaint of fender in that Mazda Red. Guess what, it did not match, took it back they tried again, no match, dealer said \u201cit looks fine\u201d we cannot tell. It always bothered me, should have repainted the whole car \u2013 sold it a year after I bought it as it always bothered me..
