California has a specific, and successful program to punish people who do this...\r\n\r\nWhere I live, I do not have a garage, and so must park on street - that means parking permit - and that means in-state reg. That's way in the weeds, but if you pull that thread, you will see may particular sweater unravel.\r\n\r\nI have heard of collectors registering their collections out of state and garaging somewhere, only driving a vehicle a few times a year.
