All that said, if you need a replacement of something Lamborghini/Urraco specific, the prices can be high or you might need to have someone fabricate the parts - again, not that different from any other of the more rare 1970s Ferraris/Lamborghinis/Maseratis. As a plus, the P300 has a timing chain vs a belt (the P200/P250 are both rubber belts I believe) so no repetitive \"ticking clock\" of aging rubber and engine out services are not regularly necessary. My other car is an ariel atom. Its one of the most uncomfortable cars ever produced, but the driving and sensory experience is right up there with the best. I'm not the type of person who needs every car to be a luxury car. All I care about is the driving experience.\n\nPeople arent faulting lamborghini because they dont have the best AC, a smooth ride, or apple carplay. Thats why I made the distinction about charmingly bad vs just bad. In my experience they just arent very good drivers. When you get into a Delta Integrale and the sunroof stops working, you can laugh about it because they at least got everything right that actually matters. Its a great driver. Its a lot less charming when the car isnt redeeming in the way it drives. Its not just two of us on BAT - I've heard this experience echoed from other people who care about driving more than they care about being seen. DOHC, a little more power than the P250, and no timing belt to worry about. I hope in the head refurbish new valves were put in, too. The sodium filled originals get brittle and snap. Ask me how I know... on the upside, the engine is easy to work on, and beautifully built. The whole assembly including gearbox comes out on the rear subframe in about 45 minutes. \r\nThe driving experience is, IMHO, much nicer than a contemporary Ferrari 308. The steering is more communicative, and the car feels more solid and planted. I also like the more adventurous interior design and color choices.\r\nThe A/C works \"OK\" if you keep it on R12. And we have hot summers here in Tennessee. Thermally, the whole car is healthy, even sitting in traffic with the A/C on. While the clutch and gas pedal replace leg day at the gym, they are not a complete pain. You're moving a lot of throttle linkage and 8 butterflies. No choke, just a few pumps of the accelerator, and the thing runs. \r\nAnd that noise!!!\r\nI guess measuring the performance of a car by today's standards is a very common mistake in society these days, not just when it comes to cars.
