Originally Safety Devices supplied the rubber gaskets for the front feet and the rear were sealed with sealant. This made sense as it didn't matter if the front leaked as it didn't go inside the truck. Overtime people started using the front seals on the rear. I did this on my own truck. I thought they would be more aesthetically pleasing but they tend to deform when tightened and it's debatable if they seal properly. Safety Devices now includes them for the rear. I'm not sure if the design was updated. \r\n\r\nPersonally I would skip the rubber seals and use sealant as they were originally designed. I mean honestly water also comes through the bolts. If it was my truck I would galvanize the feet and use sealant.
