The fact that there are 3 plastic reservoir bottles at the rear of the engine bay confirms it's not a cable activated clutch. Two are brake fluid reservoirs and the third is hydraulic fluid for the clutch. Highly doubtful it has the Daytona CV joints in this car either. As far as an oil cooler? Can't say since I have not yet learned when they started adding the oil cooler to the model. Last weekend I completed an 800 mile trip from Naples FL to our home in the mountains of WNC in #9593. The car performed flawlessly even though most of the trip was in the rain sometimes torrential. The GTC didn't miss a beat. \r\n\r\nI have cared for and improved my GTC over the last 17 years. It has a Patrick Otis re-built lower end, F1 Imports installed new valves, seals and guides and reassembled the engine. Pierce Manifolds did a complete carb renovation. I upgraded the a/c system w/ a Sanden rotary and replaced the interior fan w/ an MB blower motor. Also installed 8 blade Spal fans for cooling. Much better than the 3 blade Lucas fans. I even have \"fast\" windows. Rather than running the power through the Ducellier switches the switches now control a relay that closes the circuit from the window motor that runs directly to the fuse box. The slow window issue solved. Also replaced the Lucas alternator w/ a larger A/C Delco unit so everything can run at one time. F1 Imports built an entirely new wiring harness front to back. Electrics in these 55 year old cars can be troublesome. \r\n\r\nThere are lots of simple improvements that can be made to make the GTC a better car. Starting with the condition of the car here it only gets better. The PPI that have been thus far have reflected materially the same numbers seen in the receipt post at 62,410 kms, less than 1000kms ago, and on a fresh rebuilt motor, it's as expected. Every classic Ferrari I have known, or rather Italian cars in general, even on fresh motors, seem to have little seeps and drips. This car too has some minor seeps and drips, but nothing serious nor anything out of the ordinary. Clutch feels great, AC blows as it should. Don't buy window switches- have them rebuilt by the guy in California and do his wiring tweak and problem solved. Cheaper than sourcing NOS switches that will burn out soon without the wiring modification. Also, once these cars are right (takes time and money to do correctly, believe me) they run great forever with simple maintenance. Patina is great but if the car has loose steering, shot suspension, pulling brakes, overheating engine, smoky exhaust, worn out transaxle/linkage and carbs that need to be rebuilt you will never know what a tight 330GTC feels like - and a worn out sloppy one is no fun. I have never seen this car but it appears to be a good one that you can enjoy now. No, the car did not require any material bodywork or metal work. Having spent nearly every moment of it's life CA there was not much to address in terms of structure and there were no signs of any major damage to body or chassis. There was some minor filler which was corrected and a large scratch on the nose which I believe left a minor depression but the time spent was largely making the car laser straight. The pics of it prior to paint and body are in a link further down in the comments, from when it was purchased that is. Take a look at pics 104/105 for what I mean as far as making it dead straight. Fast Cars has their own painters, whether they are on pay roll or subbed, I do not know, but they hold them near and dear to keep up their reputation. \r\n\r\nThe extra vent lever: good question. Perhaps could have been a 365 dash piece that was used in the past but I will see what I could find out. Keep in mind it's longest term owner was a Ferrari Dealer Service Manager for ~40 years so there could have been reason is switched or upgraded. A couple of weeks ago I drive my GTC from Naples FL to our home in the NC mountains. It rained most of the 800 mile trip. While the little wipers seem useless they actually worked like a charm. Definitely needed them!!\nIn my 330 the lever in the center of the wood dash controls the single heater valve on the other side of the firewall. Maybe this car has two valves? I can't see the valve since is located fairly low on the firewall and is hidden by the air box. The airflow to each side is controlled by the lever on the right and left side of the wood dash. Push the lever up and it closes the airflow to each side. In the middle air will come in at your feet through the round vent in each footwell. Push it all the way down and the airflow will switch to coming out at the base of the top dash to [supposedly] clear the windshield. Ultimately you will need a towel to clear any fogging of the windscreen. However if you turn on the a/c it does a better job than the vent as it dries out the cockpit. I used a/c the entire drive from FL and had no windshield fogging issues.
