The roof panel and cutout have been structurally reinforced with 1/2 square tubing, and is as solid as the factory would have built it. The edges are finished and trimmed, as is the headliner. The initial idea was to install the custom built sliding rag top on the car once it had been sanded and polished, but it looked cleaner and smoother without drilling and installing the ragtop and hardware. Keep in mind, this has been a project I envisioned nearly 8 years ago, and ideas change during a long build. Once the car was completed in 24, I thought a smoked acrylic removable panoramic roof panel would look amazing, as well as be functional, but just ran out of time. \r\n\r\nI do have the original chrome door handles, and they work. But due to the extra thickness in the new door panels, the original clip is too short. \r\n\r\nNo, that is not a hole in the dash. Just bad lighting and a black, round rocker switch.\r\n\r\nThe overdrive switch is in the original location, but was way too long and intrusive, so it was shortened and works perfectly.\r\n\r\nI explained the air ride system in my original submission in full detail, but it did not translate in BAT's write-up. The air tank, electronic valve unit, head unit/controller, air lines, etc. are all intact and functional. The air lines are run to the 4 shock locations, and ready to plug into air struts. The inner fenders have been professionally integrated into the steel flares, and allow for a full body drop. I have a bag and bracket kit that is included, but I just never got around to installing it.
