It looked black in the shade but in the bright sun it turned a deep metallic purple. Rare colour, I loved it. My '93 was a dark metallic green with a black leather interior. The paint on both cars had a mirror-like quality to it, most impressive. Beautiful.\r\nBoth cars were quiet, smooth and relaxing highway cruisers. The 3.0 liter V6 was almost inaudible when just cruising around but it had a beautiful turbine-like sound when pushed. The interior was really a step above other vehicles of the era. Switch gear and the like had a real solid quality feel. It was a very nice calm and refined place to spend time on an extended trip, we did many in both cars arriving at our destination feeling relaxed and ready for anything even after ten or twelve hours behind the wheel. The big comfy leather chairs helped, they were like sitting in your living room.\r\nAs you can tell, I loved both vehicles. I only traded in my last one because I wanted to downsize.
