B has been well covered, but I'd like to add a few observations. \r\n Comparisons to the GT40 may be extended to include aluminum honeycomb tubs as their chassis. (This type of construction was also state of the art in the aerospace industry until fairly recently.) Comparisons to the Dino fall short, if for no other reason than this Ford was designed to compete on gravel stages, which is not something that can be said about the Dino, or any production Ferrari. Regardless, when it comes to value, the Italian marque writes its own rules. When the RS200 is considered simply as the brilliant machine it is, rather than for its WRC results, I prefer it over the S4 and the T16. \r\nAs far as being \"driven in anger,\" public roads are not the place to do it. Grp. B cars, and this one in particular, have taken the lives of spectators and crews alike. They were banned after 2 years because they were \"too fast to race.\" As a group, they have come by the monikers \"Killer Bees\" and \"Monsters\" honestly. To drive this car to its potential requires a professional driver on a closed course. Anything else is either irresponsibly dangerous, or just for fun.\r\nI lusted after this car for 20 years, starting when I first saw her \"naked,\" er, ah, I mean the cutaway drawing, before I finally got my hands on one.
