Back in 2007 I looked at a red one in decent shape with over 100k on it. The owner was asking $1500 for it. I took a pass because I needed a four seater so I purchased a 1995 Thunderbird LX 4.6 which served me well for over a decade. The engine and transmission in these are flawless. I often wonder if anyone did a 3800SC upgrade on these. Buick should have offered it, as well as Oldsmobile on the Trofeo since they were GMs \"halo cars\". Spending a few hundred to fix the touchscreen as well as the other minor repairs is worth it. There is a good aftermarket rebuilder who specializes in them.
