She owner owned the car until I purchased it in 2016. As far as I know, she was the only driver of the vehicle (her husband is unable to drive manual). It really is an original example. The car comes with all the factory manuals, keys, toolkit, spare tire, compressor, jack etc. \r\n\r\nI've had the car for about three years and have made it a rolling restoration of sorts. I use the term \"restoration\" but really what I did was to address the mechanical issues (ignition related), updated all the maintenance items and the few cosmetic issues typical for a 25yr old car (paint correction, curb rash on rims etc). I resisted the urge to detail the underside of the car, opting the leave the factory cosmoline and a the normal road grime. I can tell you that the car drives fantastic. The weight of the shifter and the firmness of the suspension gives you the impression of driving a tank until the tach swings to 3k and then it shoves you in the backside as the turbo kicks in. The Clutch work in January was to address the clutch pedal not returning the last 1\" of travel. That can be a symptom of either a weakened or poorly adjusted pedal return spring or a weak slave or master cylinder. I had SpeedSport diagnose and replace the hydraulics. It now works like a charm. I have no idea what unresolved issue there could possibly be. There are no sounds of any kind. I'm pretty OCD and if there was an issue, I'd have taken care of it. I hope the driving video validate. I would also welcome anyone local to come check it out and provide their opinion. The only item that does not function on the car is the radio. Everything else works, including the clock. Any item listed on the invoice from 8/8/17 has been addressed. (brakes, tires, hydraulics)\r\n\r\nThe AC blows very cold. I have not had to recharge the system since the 8/8/17. \r\n\r\nThe car resided at Mrs H's house in Houston and was never subject to any flooding. (folks, Houston is a big big city and 99% of it did not flood, but I do understand the concern...) I included several photos of the spare tire well and frunk area. The metal is virgin and clean illustrating that its never been wrecked, painted or under water. \r\n\r\nMrs H is a friend of my mothers which gave me the confidence to buy it sight unseen and know i wasn't buying a soggy mess. The car just needed someone with the energy and desire to catch up on the maintenance issues and bring back some of its lost luster. \r\nI love old cars and motorcycles. Also, the walkaround video was taken immediately after start up and the car does not smoke. Unfortunately, I dont have a leakdown or compression test. She took the car in for service at Porsche West Houston. While there it failed to start and was diagnosed as a failed ignition control module. The dealer was unable to obtain the part so It sat at the dealer for a while. That module is specific to the 91 & 92 years and has not been stocked by Porsche for many years. I then moved it up to my house in Ct and then over to SpeedSport. I told them it had been sitting for a while (the wrote a year). They happened to have the module left over from the owners 964 turbo (pricey little part...). So the car has a spare (which can be rebuilt). I had them go over the car and diagnose/repair any issues. \r\nWe had the turbo inspected and rebalanced as a precaution, not because of any failure. To me it's wise insurance. \r\n3. I have scanned and submitted all the service receipts in my possession. Mrs H tells me there are more receipts \"in a box somewhere\", but I doubt we'll ever see them. Frustrating to me , but one has to remember that for many years, this was just a fancy used car, and not everyone knows that receipts are important. \r\n\r\n3. Don McGill is the dealer/service that is now Porsche West Houston. I dont know why it was in other than listed on the receipt. I can assume it was service and then the body shop takes car of replacement of a broken/chipped headlight. I've taken paint readings, included all those photos of the interior of the truck and from above and below.
