I do not have a paint meter, unfortunately, but the paint is original and there are some flaws as shown in the gallery (passenger rear quarter scratch door, small peel under the front grille and a sap mark on the drivers rear quarter) My goal is to be as transparent as possible since no one wants to buy one of their dream cars and find something unexpected that lessens the experience. When I had the paint correction and ceramic coating done, the technician told me that the clear coat is either worn or perhaps was not typically applied in the same thickness as with current cars. He used a very soft brush to avoid any issues. Who does that in an auction? ?\r\n\r\nI have pics that show the partial repair of the missing plastic bit from the center hvac vent, a common problem but I couldn\u2019t stand to see the gap every day (check the prior auction pics from before) so I had a piece put in. Not perfect, but better. The leather has shrunk a bit on the rear armrest areas near the rear windows. Again, common, but I have pics of that as well. I was going to have it fixed but then realized that no one ever sits there and I don\u2019t see it on a regular basis, so...after nearly 11k in work that actually impacts the way she drives, I decided to leave it be. \r\n\r\nSignals, flashers, all is fine. AC is cold and clutch is smooth. I have had her in Atlanta rush hour traffic in the summer and never an issue. I fixed everything you would ever notice in driving it daily, which I nearly did until it got chilly (never cold here; I know cold from Chicago). \r\n\r\nI buy cars (and bikes) I wanted when I couldn\u2019t afford anything. See my 97 Land cruiser and 83 R100RS in the garage pics. I am no stranger to maintaining modern classics. I value quality and always \u201cbuy the seller\u201d. \r\n\r\nNo hiding the ball here. It is an extreme joy just looking at these cars standing still. The 12 cylinder version behaves like there is no speed limiter - the power is just linear and unrelenting. Also expensive as the engine is two mated inline 6's and there are two of many items, like water pumps. If you are willing an able to maintain them, you'll be thrilled.
