Other AMG-GTs without buyback are value priced. With that said, I've driven these with back-to-back comparisons to Aston DB11, Jaguar F-type and even a Lamborghini Huracan. The AMG-GT is a drivers car, really, really well balanced with a great powertrain. You feel in total control when you push it. As a smaller guy, I love the seating with a wonderful view over the hood and a great sounding engine, only second (in my opinion) to the Maserati GT exhaust. Bidders should jump in, low miles should help easy the anxiety of the buy-back. MB did a great job with these. \r\n\r\nI would have like more detailing of the vehicle (remove threshold scuffs etc...) with more \"detailed\" pictures of interior and exterior. With the compromised title and few shake down miles I would guess a fair price for this car if it were on a MB lot with only 5 months of the factory warranty left would be in the high 60's given so many options in town. However, geography does pay a huge part. This being in So Cal I am guessing if you wanted one of these and had the cash to throw down without a note there are probably at least 20 of them you could walk into a dealership with your checkbook in hand and drive away with a no hassle car in the high 70's if you were a good negotiator.\r\n\r\nI mean 0 offence to the seller and nothing against this car. Like I said it's all about geography. If a buyer here is in Lima Ohio it might be a great fit but in a place where they are all over the place and if you could find a dealer who has one in aged inventory clogging up his books you might not get much of a discount with the buy-back title.\r\n\r\nAs the seller notes himself, buy-backs can happen for rather silly things like squeaky breaks or I have even seen them for wind noise but when it's a major system like powertrain components it gets serious and you need to really put it into perspective.\r\n\r\nBut on the other hand this is an auction site so market will pay what the market demands.\r\n\r\nI hope it finds a good home.
