Someone said to take a photo of every flaw, but there truly are not any flaws that I can see on the outside. I took a picture of that loose door handle, and then I used it to get in and out. It still works fine. It just wiggles a little.\r\nYes, the box has the original radio in it. Yes, it also has a battery tender. We keep it on the battery tender when we know it\u2019s going to be a couple of weeks before driving it again.\r\n\r\nI submitted three videos to Bring a Trailer tonight, which hopefully will be added to the gallery soon. They have the car starting,; driving from the inside; and watching it being driven to hear the shifting and the engine.\r\nIt was serviced 6000 miles ago in San Diego. It is completely ridiculous that Maserati of San Diego told us that they cannot give us electronic copies, and that all they have is paper. We have tried to get them through our Oregon Maserati dealer, and they are not responding. I was told that the service cost $1600. You would think that after spending that much, they could dig through their paper copies and send them to us electronically. It is very frustrating!\r\nSomeone mentioned about a \u201csnap\u201c in the clutch. I don\u2019t know what that is. It is functioning perfectly with no weird sounds. This is a common problem in these cars. To replace it, you have to drop the transaxle - basically doing a clutch job. While you can drive it in this condition without breaking anything else while awaiting the clutch service, it is loud and very obnoxious to drive like this. This is not a subtle noise - the failure to mention it shows a lack of transparency here. Assume a clutch service with a bearing upgrade is needed on this car. I did mine at 26,000 miles. The driver side door looks flush, so my guess is that the passenger door is, or was, somewhat misaligned, causing that slight indentation.\r\n\r\nThe \u201cInside view while driving\u201d video definitely sounds like clutch/bearing squeal upon take off from a stand still, so I think the consensus is that the car is due for a whole new clutch if going to the trouble of having the pilot bearing replaced. That, and the clutch is probably getting close to needing replacement based on mileage anyway. No biggie since the clutch is a normal wear item, but buyers will factor that into their offers.\r\n\r\nAlso, I\u2019m not sure what\u2019s going on toward the end of the first video at 0:40 seconds when the car approaches the top of the ramp. It sounds like the car stays in 1st gear the whole time, but that the car hesitates as the car approaches the crest and rounds the corner. Perhaps there was an upshift, but it didn\u2019t sound like it, and if not, it seems that the clutch may be slipping. Again, I think most buyers are just going to assume it needs a new clutch and ancillary components replaced.\r\n\r\nBased on the CarFax and the statement about the last service being done 6000 miles ago, that would put it\u2019s last service at circa 2012, so the car is definitely overdue for fresh fluids, belts and filters. It\u2019s too bad that the San Diego dealer service was apparently not reported to, or not captured by, CarFax the way an earlier dealer service was reported under the first owner\u2019s ownership.\r\n\r\nIn any event, the car is a great-looking color combo and someone will be very happy driving it once the upfront clutch and basic service investments are made.
