This looks like a decent Brat but there are some things as a purist that bother me. The rear seats are missing the seat belts (very hard to find originals). The dash pod was cut to install a radio (these can be found and it\u2019s not hard to replace). Weber carb instead of the original Hitachi is a big one for me. People trash the Hitachi but when properly setup the run nice and give the right Brat sound. This car being an early Gen2 is an odd ball. The DL, which is rare, has no t-tops and a very basic gauge cluster. Early Gen 2 also has different grill, headlights, and steering wheel than a later Gen 2. This car also has adjustable lifters needing maintenance, later Brats have maintenance free hydraulic lifters. The grill on this car isn\u2019t a DL grill but that\u2019s not a big deal. Missing the rear tilgate Brat 4wd badge as well. Hard to tell but the paint work doesn\u2019t look like the best. The stripe kit can be had for $300, does look very nice on this scheme is making me think I should do the same to one of my Brats which is also this color.
