In 1989, this car was restored by Hugh Gordon, the owner of Gordon Imports, the guru of Amphicars located in California. He did very few complete restorations. The full restoration took over 1 year to complete and was sold shortly after to it\u2019s new owner in Florida. I purchased the car from him in 1994, sold the car to my neighbor in 2001 and then bought it back from him in 2004 and it has remained in my ownership since. The car has had very little use and has always been stored in a heated garage.
