Long term I may look into shoving a turbo S motor in it, or buying a turbo S and converting it to a manual? Just dreams for now tho. Good point on the weight. I've been wondering about that. Noted that most had +4 -5 owners with rapid turnover including here on BaT. People seems to buy them on an whim on rarity/engine power/ looks but eventually they get tired. \r\nPersonally I wanted to love them: currently I own 3 manual transmission cars . \r\nI test driven two 6-speed Cayenne base 958 and two GTS 957. \r\nI really wanted to love them, I had an itch to buy one - they are OK but nothing special to make me tolerate the ancient ergonomics and rather cramped interior ( for size) of 957. \r\nThe long trows and the location of shifter (designed for automatic mainly) - 958 - feels like you are driving a truck. Actually you are. \r\nI had to settle to M6 GG 6Speed.
