Very little rust, minimal body damage. A top notch shop in Illinois did the restoration. It took nearly 3 years. Last year it scored 100 points in its debut on the concours circuit to become the JCNA overall #1 car in its class. If he had gone down the let's build a racing engine, trick brakes, trick suspension on and on, he would have easily spent another 40K to 50K. There are no more \" reasonably cheap \" XK's or E-Type's. Much under 50k to 75K you are buying an incomplete rot bucket. Just for a point of fact, I personally know that this car is one that the Jaguar museum in Coventry would be happy to have in the companies collection. I was contacted by one of their top people to get my take on it. They know it is real.
