I drove mine for a long time, and went through all the ups and downs of ownership and at times agonized over the future costs of service. However, life is short and I was VERY happy to have sold my car with 1x,xxx miles as opposed to 1,xxx miles. No idea who can have the self-restraint to not drive cars that are this hilariously terrifying and preposterously invigorating. The key advantages P1 has over 918: better looking, way more rare, rear wheel drive, roof scoop, doors go up, and VERY IMPORTANT: if you don't like the color- send back the body and they will paint it. OR: buy a second body and hang the original on the wall. Really no matter how cool the 765LT or any other normalized supercar is from McLaren, only a replacement P1 would be better than a P1. The Senna and Speedtail just do not have the balance of visual grace and warp speed that the P1 has. The 918 is a great car, but having driven both I'd rather have a CGT.
