That being said, it's a nearly 60 year old car and one never knows. Since I do it for a living all my cars are up to date mechanically, it's important that they are all ready to go and drive nice. \r\n I have bought (and sold ) many cars long distance and I always want to drive them home, but usually get them shipped. And unfortunately when the car arrives I'm usually glad I did ! The car themselves are fine and as advertised, but they run and drive like crap. That can make for a miserable drive home. The Falcon wagon I bought on here; great car but just not sorted and miserable to drive. The Caterham 7 I bought on here; again overall the car was fine. But when it arrived it was nearly undriveable , but then he had told me his friend was a Weber expert ! It's now amazing to drive.
