Please note the under dash photos which highlight the pristine nature of even the cardboard that fits underneath. Atlantik is a lovely color, a very creamy blue which can look different depending on the lighting. This one is very, very nice and the owners have obviously taken good care her these past 49 years. And all of its original bits are still there including the correct shift knob. I have two 1602s from 1969 (one Atlantik), and as I am not from Calif, the first items removed and replaced with a 2002Tii exhaust manifold. As you are looking at a \"grey market import\" more than 23 years old, EPA exempt for engine. I don't know if Calif. will accept such a rational, or require that you install as required from USA examples of that year (Federalized)? Thank goodness for states like NH. I also noticed that the front bumper overiders are 1973 style. Through 1972 they were of the straight vertical style commonly fitted to the rear bumper as well. These were optional in Europe and you can see that they are not fitted in the rear of this car. Not to pick, but the air cleaners were all Purolator Grey in color. Evidence of this might be on the interior side of the air cleaner, if not resprayed there also. To the seller; what a beautiful car. I always liked the contrast of the brightwork against the blue paint. It pops! I have had mine since high school (1981). You are very right in adding the fuel additive, as hardened valve seats that deal with the lead-free gas were not used until after the transition to lead-free. The valve seats can be retrofitted if the new owner desires and should not scare you away.
