You more or less said the same in your inquiry, but it's nice to have the manufacturer's technical bulletin to back it up. From what we've read, those that experienced issues even in cars produced after 06/2001 had engines produced prior to that date, and this engine number would indicate that it was in fact produced in 01/2002.\n\nThere are no references to timing chain tensioners in the records (which isn't surprising to us), and the car exhibits absolutely no chain slap or any other issues whatsoever at idle, or any other aspect of while it's running for that matter.
