I did factor this into the initial shopping budget back then so any party considering a 996 other than a Turbo,GT3 or GT2 should as well. Its not too much money all things considered and the peace of mind one has afterwards.\r\n\r\nShortly after that a few suspension upgrades, a Darren Fister exhaust which transformed the C4S then called it a day and just drove the snot out of it ! My C4s had basically Honda Accord/ Toyota Camry reliability. Just gas and oil changes. This car in my opinion has one of the best 3/4 views of any 911 ever ! \r\n\r\nFWIW- my original IMS looked brand new when it was taken out.
