One word of caution the n tires are 10 years old and even though they look good beware. In 19 in preparation to running the Back of the Dragon I decided to replace the tires, they were 11 years old and still had good tread on them. When they were taking the tires off the rims the piece that pushes the inside off the rim went thru the side wall. The inside showed sign of dry rot but there were no signs on the outside. An easy fix. An odd thing I love about it is you can hang your arm out the window - convertibles today, the door comes up to the top of your shoulder (not sure why). The 4cyl is bullet-proof, in fact the Z3 with 6cyl engines had subframe issues later in life due to the initial design being focused on the Miata market. The Boxster, SLK, and the upcoming S2000 all blew it out of the water, so the 4cyl went bye-bye after \u201898.
