I\u2019m the current owner of this BMW Alpina B7 and would love to share the backstory and how it ended up with such low mileage\u2014and why I haven\u2019t owned it for very long.\r\n\r\nThe original owner was a huge Alpina fan who took really good care of this car. One known issue with these B7s is the supercharger bearings and components, and as a precaution he decided and replaced the whole supercharger at a BMW dealership in 2016 for about $7,000. After that, since he already had multiple Alpinas, he just parked this one in his warehouse under a cover, where it stayed untouched from 2016 until earlier this year.\r\n\r\nI came across it through a mutual friend, and as soon as I got it, I had it towed to the same BMW dealership for a full service\u2014fluids, battery, tires, and anything else it needed. All of this is noted in the recent service records.\r\n\r\nI absolutely loved driving it once everything was done, but I realized it wasn\u2019t practical for me as an everyday driver right now. If I could keep it as a second or third car, I\u2019d hang onto it forever. Unfortunately, that\u2019s just not an option for me at the moment.\r\n\r\nI hope this helps explain the car\u2019s story and my short ownership.
