A gentleman named Kerry Horan spent massive amounts of money on the build, then raced it successfully in the US, UK, and Europe. There is excellent documentation including Alland records specifying it for the 1952 NY Auto Show. \n\nFYI - I believe the brakes are from a 1953 Buick. \n\nI was blessed to have raced the car at the US Vintage Grand Prix at Watkins Glen in 2012, the SVRA Vintage National Championship at COTA in 2013, and the Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca in 2014. \n\nI grenaded the engine in the final race. The current engine was sourced and professionally built in 2016. Subsequently, the car saw mostly restaurants and country drives. It still sounded great, hauled butt, and was a hoot to drive when I sold it. \n\nGood luck to the buyer and seller. Hopefully this car will see some track action.
