One night, Joe brought a '37 Olds Business Coupe home and he and Pop fixed it up like they did all the rest but Joe kept this one and the two of them kept it going and running like a top up until '74 when Joe passed. He loved that Oldsmobile and through that loved my Dad and I think that's how my dad grew to love Oldsmobiles.\n\nThe Beehive's got a picture of the two of them standing next to the Coupe back in the day. We have put only 50 miles on it since it was ready to go again, including 4 miles today to check the steering. Steering is loose on center a bit. On a clock it moves from about 11:30 to 1:00 in free-play. There is no visual wear in the steering gear, likely its in the steering box. We've got a number of 1930s cars and they all have a little free-play. Ran it about 40 to 45 MPH with no apparent issues.
