Honestly, it transformed the handling of the car, it was amazing, and only a $300 service.\r\n\r\nAlso, I ditched the offset wheels and put on some 17x9\" Enkei RPF-1s with 255s on all four corners. Dailed a ZHP for several years while also having an E36 M3 and E90 328xi sport package. Of those cars, the M54 in the ZHP was my least favorite drive train. The M3 was the most fun and the ZHP was the most well-rounded to live with daily. There are a number of write-ups online and in the Roundel comparing the ZHP to the E36 M3.
