We did connect with the builder of the S6 Avant Clone, Dima from German AutoHaus, to get additional info & perspective on that damage reported and he was able to provide photos of the A6 Avant from when it was purchased. The \"structural damage\" was reported by the auction where German AutoHaus sourced the A6 Avant for the build. Dima searched for the cleanest, most well-equipped A6 Avant donor and acquired this loaded '06 (which he found since it had every available option for the model year). There was only damage to the front bumper cover which was missing. No damage to the bumper core (silver in attached photos), radiator or condenser. \r\nAs a dealer, we've experienced auctions mistakenly listing structural damage in the past which is typically either a clerical mistake or the auction covering their backs from the potential issues.\r\n\r\nWe\u2019ve since had the car inspected by Precision Body & Paint in Beaverton, OR and the inspection is in the gallery. They\u2019re an Audi Certified collision repair facility and they noted the following after inspecting the frame: \u201cFound under body measurements to be within Audi tolerance and NO signs of structural damage. Miss it dearly. \r\n\r\nA couple questions @seller...\r\n\r\nDoes the intake manifold still have the internal flaps? Early S6's had issues with them breaking and was supposedly fixed in later MYs. Many early generations just deleted them as a precaution as a new manifold was about $4000 last I saw.\r\n\r\nThese engines tend to run a bit hot and a modification many people do is install intake manifold spacers between it and the heads to bring down intake temps. Does this have them?\r\n\r\nHow do the upper and lower front control arm bushings look? The upper arms have a bad habit of seizing to the knuckle and short of torching and hammering them out you basically just need to replace the whole knuckle.
