The APC car would have been 9:1 compression, the non APC H motor was 8.5:1 - I think. As they had to build the engines differently there was a cut-off. This car's VIN is solidly within the first half of production. Power windows were available as were manual windows, power windows were an add-on option in 1982 and part of the new \"Exclusive Appointments Package\" in 1983. Most US turbos had EAP from 1983-on but not all! Manual windows were available through the series at least to 1992, I think all base 900s for 1993 were actually S models which by then had power windows standard, hard to remember. Finally the Alpine is cool and retro but not period... though understandable as the factory audio was a temperamental Sony with two amps under the back seat. Also under battery which is ok.\n2) the owner loved this car, knew what he had, and did not drive it in winter, even though they were great in VT snow at the time!\n3) AC is working and fully charged. Wouldn't say artic cold though. \n4)\"Seasonally Driven\" Please understand that communication with BaT is not straightforward sometimes, they seem to type up the description in a hurry sometimes, I don't know where that term came from. Not driven in winter is accurate.\n5) CV joints: no clunktity clunk on turns. Mechanic does not remember if he did these yet.
