Addressing the concerns of Bustedknuckle1, as this car has but 7,500 miles we did not do a compression test or leak-down test. It starts instantly, runs quietly, no smoke or odd noises. This Ford engine is rated at 125 h.p. so it actually is significantly quicker than my recently sold Plus 4 with Triumph power. There is no rot in the frame. I included some photos of the wood taken when we were dying the interior trim that show the condition of the wood pretty well. Doors close very nicely without any sagging. There have not been any repairs to the body or structure of this car. I've tried to accurately photograph the issues with paint, otherwise this is a ready to use car. While the previous owner had a fast road Kent cam installed, I was a bit disappointed as compared to my old TR3. After a bit of checking, there is a wonderful Morgan owner network out there, I made two simple changes. Removed the second silencer and installed a K&N air filter, now it really jumps when I ask it to. Engine replacement? People shoehorn all sorts into these cars, LS1 is not uncommon, Morgan offers V8 versions for a few dollars more. It is exempt, as federal requirements say its exempt.\n\nHawaii isn't accepting this answer, rather saying a Registered Importer needs to affix a label, stating the vehicle meets FMVSS, which the vehicle does not and can not.\n\nA vehicle over 25 years old is exempt from FMVSS. An RI can not just put a label on a car saying it meets FMVSS, that would be illegal.
