Advantage Euro GTI.\n\nThe US car had the suspension adjusted to deal with the extra weight. Draw.\n\nThe US car had the 1781cc engine with 90 hp. But the 112hp comes at north of 5500 rpm. Between 3000-5000 (and 5000 is \"sporting\") the US engine has more torque, and probably feels peppier in that range.
