I have loved xr75s since childhood and have been fortunate to own some very special low hour originals. I have a few questions as i believe it is mentioned that the exhaust is the only piece that has been painted - it looks to me like the foot pegs, kickstand, and engine skid plate have been as well. Can you post a few pictures of the pegs themselves and a few shots from under the bike to confirm/deny whether they have been 'refreshed' as well? Also - in pictures 9 & 10, the rear wheel looks like it is sitting crooked (the top of the wheel is more towards the left and the bottom of the wheel is more towards the right). I only ask because I have had (2) original 73s over the years with the same ailment which turned out to be a slightly bent swingarm in both cases. With your handlebars having the slight bend along with the swingarm/wheel alignment, it is possible someone early on had a little wipe out and that is why the bike was parked? Either way, I don't want to come off like I am picking on the bike, I like it a lot and will most likely be a bideder, I've just always loved an original's patina/character, over refinished bikes or parts. Original due to age would show age on bolts, nuts and hardware yet not corroded up or rusted being a hard past life and stored bike. \r\nI have seen and measured NEW OEM Honda bars that were slightly out of alignment when jigged then welded together.
