In fact, if folks are able to watch the cold start video on something other than a phone like a computer with decent speakers, or a sound system, you will be rewarded with some impressive sound coming through. I made sure to spend plenty of time with the engine and back at the tail pipe to get a proper \"sound bite\" of the old girl. The 2 driving videos are also pretty good as we had the windows down and you can really hear it run. \r\n\r\nSorry you had to learn your lesson the hard way with that throw out bearing; I guess you could say, leave out bearing....oh that's bad humor. During that video I show every inch of the car inside and out including lifting up the dash cover to reveal the only tiny visible crack. \n\nThe rust underneath is pretty typical of these cars as it just forms on the seems of the sheet metal. This is actually very minor in comparison to what you see especially given the car's mileage and survivor status. And, to be clear, it's only on the seems as you can see that the rest of the floor, including all 4 jacking points, are rock solid. \n\nThere is only 1 tiny spot that was specifically pointed out during the video on the drivers side of the rear bumper area, but that is only on the surface. I'll be adding more pictures of every part of the car, including the undercarriage as we go so stay tuned for those. Hope that answers your questions.\n\n @BobD, it is as described and more minor than it appears. For complete transparency, we had the large overhead door open behind the car with strong setting sun which flooded the garage with light and really magnified the floor. We are trying to present the car as honestly as possible. If there were no metal remaining, the car would flex and fold in on itself. With the car in the air, the doors open and close exactly as they do when it's on the ground. Again, the rest of the floor and the jacking points are rock solid. \n\n @eshorer, glad yours found a loving new home. Obviously, with the no reserve moniker and our owner's prominent collection, we are also trying to find this beauty a loving new caretaker as well. If you didn't get a chance to view the most recently added video of our back seat \"ride along\" with our owner, you definitely want to do that. You get to hear that distinctive V-4 with the windows down and it doesn't disappoint. We also hear our owner discuss how well the Freewheeling feature works as he takes us around. At several points during the video, we see him take his hands off of the wheel completely to show how straight the car drives; It's pretty impressive, so look for it. \r\n\r\n@chrisfzco, only routine maintenance was needed during our owner's tenure. The previous owner's service docs, which go with the file, also have general maintenance items. It's pretty obvious that this car has only had mature stewardship but it's difficult to say whether it has had engine or trans work of some kind. I can tell you that it runs, drives, shifts, and brakes very well in its current state. The only thing I would recommend if you intend to do a 1,000 mile drive would be to update the tires. They're fine for around town, but I would definitely replace them if you're going to do any extended trips or touring.
