I sold the rear leaf springs to this car. They were custom made to my Escort project 10 years ago, but decided to go the other route afterwards. The springs are brand new and can carry a load. I had access at that time to some special coatings and the trick is that each leaf is separately Teflon coated and only then bolted back together. Very silent and slippery springs. No need for Teflon sliders between the leafs. Poly bushing was included with the sale of springs. Very good package. \r\n\r\nSteel wheels: they are 4x108mm PCD and ET/offset is ca. 19mm. A good friend of mine did the wheels to this car. He has done few sets to me and I can tell they are quality, laser straight products. He's been doing these for decades so there's some experience involved here. Personally I'd gone the ordinal look ahead with steel wheels from RS models that would have been increased to 15\". That's what I have in my cars. But as someone said, 15\" tire selection is so much better than 13\" so in that sense this was a good change. \r\n\r\nI remember seeing this car for sale do quite a long time ca. 2 years ago. Asking price was around 5000$. It was bone stock then.
