But my Chamonix '72tii has the same clock in it and I had always thought that it came out of a Ti (from memory)...of course, tii clocks have black trim rings. Andy bought the car from the elderly original owner after chasing it for a while. The car at that point (mid/late 80s) only had about 40k miles on it. It was a really beautiful original example and it drove like new. Gail offered me the car but as a somewhat broke college student while initially committing to the car I ended up passing on it. It wasn\u2019t long after that it went to the US - and received a set of alloys. The car originally had the factory wider steel wheels and hubcaps.\n\nThis is now the third time the car has come into my orbit as it\u2019s about to change hands again.
