I think this is the 6th of 7th car we sold in the past years and I'd argue the best. Lovely resto, LOADS of pep, drives like a dream and looks like I want to put in my kids' bed at night. Adorable car, wonderful condition and a no excuses addition to any collection, no matter how serious. \r\n\r\nThis car lived its life as a hotel transport in Northern CA when it was acquired by Theo Sahli (the micro car guru). It's since under gone lovely care and refurbishment and has lived in a long term very fun collection here in SoCal. Everything is tight and feels better than any Multipla I have driven. \r\n\r\nThe old 22hp motor was replaced with the current 30hp D Type motor which moves along in town wonderfully. Has a 5.19 rear so will make it up Mount Everest and zooms around town with a highway speed of about 60mph. \r\n\r\nWill add some videos, because its perfect excuse for me to pile on the miles. But my second car was a Fiat 600D purchased from a local church minister. By then I\u2019d become semi-obsessed with all things Fiat and made regular trips to the local dealer, Delta Cars, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, for parts and service advice from Gil, the all-seeing and all-knowing Fiat Guru. \n\nPeriodically, Gil would steer me toward an outside resource to help me out. I recall one time when the starter motor on my 600D worked only intermittently and then, not at all. Gil sent me up the street to an electrical supply store to pick up new brushes for the starter motor. The cost was about $2. I then had to go back home and find out where the the starter motor was and how to access it. Fortunately I was methodical enough to realize where it was, how to remove it, and replace the brushes.
