It\u2019s a cool car and always gets a lot of looks. I like to say that it is very rare but not necessarily very valuable, but we love it. We have been slowly restoring ours over the past few years, and the common parts are pretty available. Some of the less common parts like the pull knobs for the air, choke, etc. are next to impossible to find. This car looks well sorted and d should only need routine maintenance moving forward. All of the normal wear and tear items are easily found. These are fun cars to drive and the power is proportionate to its weight, so the buyer will have a great time with this. The Familiare was subject to a complete body-off-chassis restoration in Greece (please see photos in the Photo Gallery)where the chassis was beautifully detailed, the body was completely stripped of all chrome, glass, interior, doors, etc and the engine was completely disassembled and rebuilt (please again see photos in the Photo Gallery.) \r\nWhen the car was sold on BaT many years ago, the gauges had been restored but were inoperative. The buyer of the car at that time sent the car to his shop where, among other things, he had the gauges completely rebuilt. \r\nWe purchased the car from that buyer (along with a Fiat 500) in 2019, and have used it primarily for photo shoots--you may have seen it in magazine ads (with a Christmas tree on the roof rack) or in elegant settings with beautiful people. We have also driven it on club tours and to local events. It is a hit with Italian exotics at cars and coffee-type events. It is a great deal of fun to drive. The restoration was obviously completed some time prior to 2015, but it is still so nice that it appears that it could have been yesterday. Mechanically, it is the same. Looking at the photos, you obviously not only had the body off of the chassis and thoroughly restored everything, but you also had the engine and mechanical bits torn down and rebuilt to a very high standard. The car starts right up, runs beautifully, shifts and stops as it should and is a lot of fun to drive. There has been talk here on BaT about the roof rack.
