My car originally came with a Ford Consul motor (a heavy lump) it was transformed when I repowered it with an FWB Coventry-Climax. These cars were considered very quick and were very successful in period racing especially with XPAG MG motors. You can probably have it repaired so that you can keep all instruments original or you can buy a replica.\r\nThe previous owner said the engine had low oil pressure when he bought it, I did a complete overall of the engine, rebuilt the oil pump with new internals but still had low pressure. I had a new set of cam shaft bearings built because the old ones were worn beyond specs, this helped but the oil pressure still drops at idle when hot.
