D series had a brake light switch for the front brake, where as the series B and C did not. Switch is for rear brake use. And, an easy fix either way. As per @shooker he mentions \"the other side\" where twins chain guard is on the right, singles on the left. Not too many singles in touring form. Yes, this is a Very nice bike as is, it's a rider, and easy enough to swap out the tail lamp and any other parts that bother anyone. @JSHia Thank You for offering and there's lots of us who will be watching this auction. They handle and stop better than most other 500cc singles and are smoooooth! I once rode a Vellocette MAC that was almost as smooth, but this Comet is a treasure, and compared to a big twin, the price will be a bargain.
