I was told back then you could order an Indian any color DuPont had.\r\nI got the color idea from an original paint 1939 Indian that I had seen that had similar colors but not exact.\r\nThe paint scheme with arrow on tank and frame, fork and fenders all one color is a correct paint scheme for the year. I made the bike how I wanted and liked.
